Early Bird Enrollment for Homeschool

You read it correctly. Even if we have just crossed half of the current school year, we have enrolled for the next school year. It has been our habit since 2017 to fully enroll the kids early. We always take advantage of the Early Bird Enrollment Promo of our homeschool provider, Peniel Integrated Christian Academy of Rizal. Let me tell you why.

Early Bird Enrollment helps us save money.

When we take advantage of the early bird promo, we save at least 4,000 pesos for each child every year. That savings is what we can use to budget for the books. Instead of saving separately to buy the textbooks in June (or in this case the school year will open in August), we can use the money we saved in tuition fees to buy books. For two kids on early bird promo plus siblings discount, we just saved a whopping 9,000 pesos! That’s a lot!

We will inevitably enroll the kids anyway. So why not save early for the tuition fees and enroll early on, right?

My husband and I usually start saving after all the expenses made at the beginning of the school year. We still have expenses throughout the year like fees for online tutor, other learning materials, field trips, etc. So I need to be careful not to go out of budget and save at the bank any extras. I also encourage new homeschooling moms to save their 13th month pay for the tuition instead of buying appliances or spending on other things.

Start of the School Year is Not Stressful

By enrolling the kids early for the coming school year, we are saved from a lot of stress most specially from thinking where to get the money to pay the homeschool provider.

The early bird promo is offered usually in November. Because we are able to pay and secure their enrollment even before we spend for the Christmas holidays. Wala na kami pro-problemahin kahit gumastos pa sa Pasko dahil enrolled na sila para sa susunod na taon.

When summer comes, the only items I need to buy are the textbooks and other learning materials.

We can better budget our finances.

Because we have paid for the tuition fees of the kids for the whole school year at the early bird promo, we do not have to worry about monthly or quarterly tuition fees. We can better see and manage our finances on a monthly basis without having to be concerned of additional expenses.

Whether you are homeschooling or not, include in your monthly savings the expenses for tuition fees and school supplies. I took public schools as student. Even if the government paid for my education, my parents still shelled out for school supplies, baon, and other learning materials.

I agree with this mas mabuti nang handa, pag naging parent ka talga you will learned how to save money especially pag may nag aaral ka na anak you need to balanced everything, saving for the. Future is the best to provide the needs ng family, ika ka nga nila mas meron kang madudukot pag kelangan kasi you are ready. Sa pagiging parent you always considered the savings yet satisfying the need of our family. Natututo tlga ako dito how to manage siguro dahil nadin sa mga pinagdaan ko sa buhay. Yes, mommy. Kailangan talaga magsave kahit kaunti lang ang kaya. Ang importante ay ma-practice natin ang habit of saving.
