Admittedly, I was not that particular with my skin when I was younger. It was enough for me to wash my face and then sleep on it. I didn’t care then if I spend at least 8 hours in an airconditioned environment, night shifts, and stressful work. These factors piled up and eventually showed on my skin. Skincare is inevitable. Now that I am in my 40s, I do my best to take better care of it. This time, I am taking another brand into my list: Kamedis. And here’s my review of their skincare products.
What is Kamedis?
Kamedis has a tag line of Balance, Nature, and Science. From there you can get an idea already what their products stand for. Topic Skin Face and Body Wash
Kamedis Face and Body Wash remind me of the gentle body wash that I use on my kids when they were babies. It is a little watery and did not have any scent which is a plus for me. Incredibly, it is gentle but it can remove all the oils and dirt on my face without the dryness. I was able to notice my skin moisturized after each use. However, I am not sure how it would fair if I had makeup on since I haven’t tried that yet. But, overall for everyday oil and dirt on my face, this works well.
The face and body wash is a gentle foaming cleanser that helps relieve and soothe dry skin. This one is a great product for people who have eczema, atopic dermatitis, and dry, red, and itchy skin. It does not dry out the skin’s natural barrier.
How to use this? I just applied a small amount onto my fingertips and lathered it in a circular motion. In addition to using it on my face, this cleanser can also be used on the whole body.
Also for Baby!
The Kamedis Face and Body Wash is suitable for adults and children aged 6 months and older. For kids 6 months to 3 years, this may be used once a day.
Finally, I can have one product as a facial cleanser and body wash to bring for the whole family when we go out on overnights!
Kamedis AC-Clear Face Mask
For every box of the Kamedis AC-Clear Face Mask, it includes 5 sheets. The face mask purifies oily skin prone to blemishes and pimples. It also soothes and hydrates red and irritated oily skin. The mask is suitable for teenagers and adults.
Kamedis Ultra Hydration Gel
The Kamedis Ultra Hydration Gel is a revelation! This product was designed for dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin (my skin!!). They have used powerful botanical extracts called Calm Botaniplex that contain beneficial prebiotics.
The hydration gel also includes Hyaluronic acid and Glycerin which work to replenish and hydrate affected skin.
It is a gel that is lightweight in texture, quickly absorbs by the skin, and provides lasting hydration. I used this gel for a few days especially before I sleep to check how it fairs with the air conditioning. In the morning, my skin is supple but not oily.
Other than my face, I also used this gel on other parts of my body that are prone to dryness and itchiness. It worked well also on my bikini area which can get really dry and sensitive lately because of the weather. I also liked it as a hand moisturizer because it is easily absorbed by the skin.
Overall, I am impressed with the Kamedis products that I have tried. As someone who has had sensitive and dry skin, it is appreciated to have a skincare line that addresses my skin issues. One thing though that I would like for them to have is to have a trial set. Their products come in full sizes and I think it would be a good opportunity for potential customers to try their products first before purchasing the full sizes.
