Over a Cup of Hot Cocoa Live Podcast

In the previous months, I tried to encapsulate my thoughts through a series of 1-minute videos. These videos, I shared on my Facebook page and Tiktok account did not garner enough views. Furthermore, I realized that it is so difficult to contain my thoughts in just a minute.

I have thought about starting a podcast before. In fact, I tried to learn as much as I can about this craft through YouTube videos and even enrolled in a course. But I never had the courage to start one. I felt that I am not good enough. I am not ready yet.

Until I decided to be ready.

Change is a Process

Earlier in 2020, I enrolled in a Transformation Coaching Certification Course. But I was only able to finish the course this year. Before enrolling, I had a lot of factors to consider. My main deciding point was, I want to be more than what I was currently. I had to change. I knew I had to because it was a tingling feeling inside.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” -Barack Obama

And I took a step. I finished the course and became certified.

I wanted to help myself change and transform.

This time, I want to join the journey with others.

I joined Mamane’s Journaling workshop and in that workshop, I made my journal spread. My spread was about the podcast I was eyeing to start.

It took me a lot of courage to write down in that journal that I will start the podcast on October 1. I knew that if I write it, it means it is signed, sealed, and delivered. That there was no backing out.

This has to happen.

This has to be manifested.

And I am the author of my life.

I may be scared and feel not ready. But I have to do it. I had to start.

So on October 1, I went live for the first time for the podcast. I was anxious. I did not expect many people to listen in given that my schedule was at 10PM on a Friday evening and it was the only workable schedule for me. But lo and behold, I actually had a live audience!

Grateful and thrilled to have people listening in on my podcast. It gave me a chuckle when people said that I have a soothing voice. It feels so good to be complimented. Thank you!! I tried my best to modulate and be calm and steady because it was a night podcast and people are preparing to sleep.

So there, I will try my best to be not quirky on any of my episodes!

I also had the opportunity last month to invite two mommy friends to join my episodes. I just love learning through others and being able to share each journey.

We are all in this together.

Let’s talk about self-discovery and transformation.
